"Yoga for Connection" Group Class
Mondays, 7-8pm
Come join us in this low-pressure and high-inclusivity group class, being offered on Mondays from 7-8pm through Zoom. The class is recovery-themed and trauma-informed, with special attention to supporting those with eating disorders. No yoga experience is necessary; please come as you are.

The goals include connecting to self & community, breathing, flexibility, and moving the needle on embodiment, self-compassion, and mindfulness.
I will offer variations as we move through the hour (e.g. using a chair instead of sitting on a mat, sitting up instead of laying back, bending knees, etc.) and will encourage you to listen to your body, and take an active role in empowerment in your practice.
These classes are being offered at a pay-what-you-can fee, with a suggested contribution of $10-$20 per person. No one will be turned away due to money (please contact me here as your circumstances dictate). One third (1/3) of the collected contributions will be donated to a local organization that supports recovery work. This will be suggested and chosen by the Monday community, and a donation made one time per quarter.
A yoga mat is highly recommended. Additional items that may be helpful include: A light blanket or beach towel, and a yoga block or small stool. The Zoom meeting link will be emailed to you about 30 minutes before the start of class. A waiver will be forwarded for completion upon initial registration below.
Be well,
Kim
